Join us for a special night of purpose and connection as the Orange County Beach Cities Aikido Foundation (OCBCAF) hosts its Charity Dinner and Auction — an evening dedicated to supporting programs that empower children, teens, women, and families through the peaceful principles of Aikido.
This three-hour benefit will feature a curated dinner, inspiring speakers, and an exciting live auction with generous donations from our community partners — including show tickets, restaurant gift cards, wellness packages, and training opportunities at the Cohn Health Institute, Oxylon Wellness, and Newport Beach Aikido.
Our Mission: Building Safer, Stronger, More Centered Communities
At the heart of OCBCAF lies a simple but powerful belief — that peace begins with each individual. Through the practice of Aikido, we teach people how to transform conflict, manage fear, and respond with calm and clarity.
The funds raised from this event will go directly toward:
- 🥋 Scholarships for underprivileged children, teens, and families to train in Aikido
- 🧘♀️ Workshops in safety awareness and self-defense for women and teens
- ❤️ Community programs focused on mindfulness, CPR certification, and personal safety
- 🎥 Development of the Aikido Mastery Channel, an online educational platform sharing the art of non-conflict and hosting webinars with leaders who apply Aikido principles in daily life

About Newport Beach Aikido & OCBCAF
Newport Beach Aikido is proud to be the home of the Orange County Beach Cities Aikido Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible Aikido training and safety education to our local community. Founded by Gentil Pennewaert Shihan, our dojo emphasizes not only physical techniques but also the mental and spiritual harmony that Aikido fosters.
