Due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, Newport Beach Aikikai will be offering online videos for our students to continue training safety at home. We will be adding videos onto our Youtube Channel daily to help our students maintain a good regimen of mind and body practice.

G. Pennewaert Shihan has prepared a series of basic weapon exercises to help us practice individually at home or with a partner. This exercises will focus primarily on the jo and bokken. As our community is going through unstable times, it is important to maintain calm and not allow stress to interfere with daily activities or sleep. Practicing meditation along with these online exercises will help reduce the tension and stress in our daily lives. Stress affects our immunity which is so important during these times to boost. Along with a proper diet of less sugar, more water, and a balanced diet of healthy greens, exercise can play an important role in maintaining your health.
