Aikido Summer camp for your teens

Descended from the Samurai Arts of Japan, Aikido gives teens the skills to develop greater confidence and self-awareness. Loaded with tons of Aikido techniques, exercises, and drills to increase focus, coordination, awareness, your teen will develop self-confidence and be prepared to handle real-life situations.

Teens will have the opportunity to learn and practice different ways of being powerful to be safe! The skills they will practice can help stop abuse, abduction, assault, and bullying.

Sponsored by the Orange County Beach Cities Aikido Foundation, the aikido teen training camps will be instructed by Gentil Pennewaert Shihan (7th Dan) and assisted by Charn Pennewaert Shidoin (4th Dan) and Ren Pennewaert, Nidan.

Teen Training Camp Details

Session: August 5-8, 2024

Samurai Summer Camp Pricing 

  • Full day: 9-3 PM $475, includes meals

Early Bird Rate (Pay in full before 6/10)

  • Full day: 9-3 PM $425

New Students will need to buy a uniform (Gi) for $80. All students receive a camp T-shirt. Discounts can not be combined.

Please pay at the dojo via check (payable to Newport Beach Aikikai) or via credit card.
